Fairhope man admits to recording sex act with toddler, other federal charges
A Fairhope man pleaded guilty Thursday to federal child pornography charges, including admitting that he recorded a sex act between a toddler and a woman he was chatting with on his phone, according to court records.
Jeremy Dixon Kinsey, who was arrested in May after a tip was sent to the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force, pleaded guilty in federal court in Mobile to sexual exploitation of children, attempted enticement of a minor and possession of child pornography, records showed.
The victims, who all live outside the United States, were all under 12 and included a toddler.
While he admitted to exploiting three victims in the indictment, Kinsey acknowledged in the plea agreement that there were “at least 11 other minors with whom he was communicating or with an adult with custody or control over those minors.”
Kinsey also admitting to have more than 600 images or videos of child sex abuse material on his phone.
He faces between 15 and 50 years in prison when he is scheduled to be sentenced June 24.
