Nashville-based Thai restaurant headed to the Pizitz Food Hall
Nashville-based chain Thai Esane is set to open at the food hall this year. Founded in 2014 by Nina and Tim Sington, Thai Esane specializes in Thai-Laotian cuisine. The eatery has four locations in Nashville, Tenn. with upcoming storefronts in California, Oregon, and Texas.
“We are thrilled to be a part of The Pizitz Food Hall family and to introduce our unique blend of Thai flavors to the vibrant community of Birmingham,” Nina Singto said in a press release. “Our mission is to provide an unforgettable Thai experience where guests can savor the authenticity of cuisine in a welcoming and modern setting.”
The Thai Esane menu features an array of specialties, including the “Crying Lion”– sizzling steak prepared medium rare and sliced, served under sautéed broccoli and onion– and seafood monsoon– sizzling mussels, shrimp, scallops, bell pepper, and onion in a house sauce, served over rice.
The Pizitz Food Hall will announce the grand opening details for Thai Esane in the coming months. The news comes amidst a rotation of stalls in the downtown food hall. This month, both Birmingham Candy Co.and SMOKE Bistro announced they would shutter their stalls in the Pizitz to focus on other locations of their restaurants.
