New churro restaurant set to open at The Summit
Patrons who have enjoyed Churro Station’s pop-up shops at Birmingham-area farmers markets are in for a treat. The mobile churreria is set to open a brick-and-mortar location.
Churro Station will open a storefront at The Summit at 329 Summit Blvd in the strip of shops that house Teaspoon, Taco Mama, and Real & Rosemary. After a soft opening on Jan. 26., Churro Station will host its official grand opening at 3 p.m., according to a post on the restaurant’s Instagram account.
So far, Churro Station’s menu at The Summit is an expanded version of its mobile offerings. The storefront will offer a selection of handcrafted churros with à la carte fillings and toppings, as well as a selection of drinks including coffee (lattes, cappuccino, and espresso), hot chocolate made with Abuelita Mexican chocolate, sparking water, and soft drinks.
Churro Station at The Summit will be open on Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
