Wind chill advisory for Southeast Alabama Sunday morning

The National Weather Service issued a wind chill advisory at 8:06 a.m. on Sunday in effect until 9 a.m. for Coffee, Dale, Henry, Geneva and Houston counties.

The weather service states, “Very cold wind chills occurring. Wind chills as low as 15 degrees.”

“The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken,” states the weather service. “Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.”
