‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ season 16 episode 3: How to watch, where to stream

Season 16 episode 3 of RuPaul’s Drag Race will premiere on MTV Friday, Jan. 19 at 8/7c.

During last week’s episode, we met the last seven queens who will be competing this season. Just like week one, the new queens put their performance skills to the test during a talent show where no one was sent home at the end. However, the winner was granted immunity from a future elimination along with last week’s winner.

This week will be the first time a season 16 contestant will be eliminated and be forced to “sashay away” following a maxi-challenge.

During week three of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16, as the two groups of drag queens meet for the first time, tensions rise when the queens put their design skills to the test in a pageant of “mother-inspired” couture and showcase three mom-themed looks.

Where can I watch RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16 episode 3?

Although season 16 episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race will premiere on MTV, those without basic cable can still live stream new episodes of the reality series the same day they premiere with Philo or FuboTV.

How does RuPaul’s Drag Race work?

RuPaul’s Drag Race is a reality show in which a group of talented drag queens compete in challenges to impress host RuPaul Charles, the world’s most famous drag queen, to win a cash prize along with a crown and the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar.

Each episode consists of a main challenge, usually some form of performance, fashion design or both. The queens then participate in a themed runway show, where one is declared the winner of that week, while two others are announced to be up for elimination.

The bottom two must then compete to stay on the show with a lip-sync for their lives.
