Wind chill advisory affecting Southeast Alabama until Saturday morning

The National Weather Service issued a wind chill advisory at 1:40 a.m. on Friday valid from 9 p.m. until Saturday 9 a.m. for Coffee, Dale, Henry, Geneva and Houston counties.

The weather service states, “Very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 10 degrees.”

“The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken,” describes the weather service. “Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.”
