22-year-old woman ejected, killed in Lowndes County rollover crash
A 22-year-old woman was killed in a Wednesday night crash in Lowndes County.
Alabama State Troopers Thursday identified the fatality victim as Sophia A. Rogers. She lived in Georgiana.
The wreck happened at 10:25 p.m. on Alabama 185, one mile south of Fort Deposit.
Trooper Sgt. Jeremy Burkett said Rogers was driving a Chevrolet Malibu that left the road and overturned. She was not using her seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Rogers was pronounced dead on the scene.
