Alabama roads icy, dangerous after freezing overnight temperatures
Some Alabama roads continue to report icy conditions Wednesday morning following a night of single digit temperatures, as Alabama continues to suffer under a blast of Arctic air.
Cities across the state experienced single-digit temperatures overnight, but Wednesday promises to be slightly “warmer” across Alabama, according to forecasters. At least four Alabama cities had record cold temperatures on Tuesday — but they were record low highs.
A hard freeze warning by the National Weather Service is in effect for some counties until Thursday 8 a.m.
