The warning was for Lauderdale, Colbert, Franklin, Lawrence, Limestone and Madison counties.

“Calm winds are expected to continue for the next few hours. Though actual temperatures will remain around or slightly below zero in southern middle Tennessee and near the AL/TN border for another hour or so, wind chill values should predominantly climb above zero degrees shortly after 9 a.m.,” states the National Weather Service.
