A 45-year-old man was killed in a weekend crash in east Birmingham.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the fatality victim as Arlonzo Monta Owens. He lived in Birmingham.

The single-vehicle wreck happened at 2:16 p.m. Saturday in the 4900 block of East Lake Boulevard. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 2:45 p.m.

Details of the crash have not been released.

Birmingham police are investigating.
