A winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 2:40 a.m. valid from Monday midnight until Tuesday 6 a.m. for Morgan County.

The weather service adds, “Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of up to two inches and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch.”

“Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute,” explains the weather service. “Slow down and use caution while traveling.”
