The Baldwin County Planning and Zoning Commission narrowly approved Blueberry Fields, a 58-lot subdivision outside of Magnolia Springs that had drawn concern that Baldwin County Sewer Service would not be able to handle the influx.

“I feel for [developer Greg Kennedy], and I think I feel for the staff, and the position the county’s been put in, and the position we’ve been put in,” Jamie Strategier, a member of the commission who represents the Fort Morgan area, said during the meeting. “I just don’t feel comfortable allowing it to just lie.”
