Baldwin County residents have struggled with the fast pace of construction in one of the fastest-growing counties in Alabama. They say that pace strains the infrastructure in their areas, amid the many new homes coming to their neighborhoods.

“It scares everybody…can the schools keep up, police, fire, everything?” Rachel Romash Reese, a realtor in Daphne and the owner of Elite Real Estate Solutions, says. “Can you maintain that growth, so it doesn’t negatively affect us in the next five years?”
