The Alabama football calendar is filling in with the biggest date of the spring.

Mark it down. A-Day is set for April 22 in Bryant-Denny Stadium. Kickoff time and other festivities will be announced at a later date.

A crowd of 31,077 attended last year’s A-Day game on a rainy afternoon on April 16.

This version figures to have a little more intrigue as the Crimson Tide will be replacing starting quarterback Bryce Young. This will be the first Alabama quarterback competition since 2018 when Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts vied for the job.

The 2023 season begins Sept. 2 when Middle Tennessee State comes to Bryant-Denny Stadium.
