A north Alabama woman has been charged with sexually abusing a child over a 6-year period, sodomy and bestiality, according to court records.

Kristina Owens Fletcher, 45, of Madison, allegedly inflicted the abuse between 2014 and 2020, records showed.

Fletcher was arrested on Tuesday.

She was released from the Madison County jail after posting $73,000 bond, according to jail records.

Fletcher’s arrest was the result of an investigation by the Madison Police Department and National Children’s Advocacy Center in Huntsville, according to WAAY.
