South Alabama DB Marquise Robinson to enter portal
South Alabama cornerback Marquise “Cuddie” Robinson plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, he announced Thursday.
Robinson started all 13 games for the Jaguars in 2023, totaling 36 tackles, three interceptions, three pass breakups and a fumble recovery. He has one season of eligibility remaining.
A Crosby, Miss., native, Robinson is the fourth South Alabama starter to enter the portal or announce plans to do so since the end of the regular season. Wide receiver Caullin Lacy has already transferred to Louisville, while guard Dontae Lucas and safety Jaden Voisin have departed the team in the last week.
South Alabama went 7-6 in 2023, beating Eastern Michigan in the 68 Ventures Bowl.
