A search is underway for a 73-year-old man missing from Irondale.

Eugene Mines was last seen about 4 p.m. Tuesday leaving his home on foot.

Irondale police say Mines may be living with a condition that impairs his judgment.

Mines is 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weights 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Mines was last known to be wearing a black shirt and gray pants. He walks with a cane.
