Cookies and milk may be fine for Santa, but if your ideal Christmas eve includes something a little more caffeinated, you’re in luck.

Most Starbucks locations will be open on Christmas Eve but you will need to pay attention to schedules as some will have shortened holiday hours. A look at store hours on Starbucks’ website shows most stores will close between 5 and 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 24. You can check your favorite location’s hours here.

Select locations will also be open on Christmas Day, but check ahead.

If you do stop by Starbucks, on Christmas Eve, you can score a free short hot chocolate with the purchase of a grande or larger handcrafted drink as part of Hot Chocolate Cheer Weekend.

There’s a limit of one free short per purchase; iced brewed coffee and tea and ready-to-drink beverages are excluded.
