Perry Thompson decided to have a little fun Wednesday.

He picked up an orange Auburn hat, then quickly put it down. He picked up a crimson Alabama hat, lifted it to his head, then put it down while a voice from the crowd shouted, “Boy, don’t play with me.” Smiling all the while, Thompson capped the drama by unzipping and shedding his jacket to reveal an Auburn jersey with his favorite number.

No. 1. Hence his Twitter handle: Perry “Uno” Thompson.

He made the decision official by signing his national letter of intent with the Tigers. The 5-star wide receiver from Foley High School who flipped his commitment from Alabama to Auburn last summer did not flip back despite a late push by the Crimson Tide.
