Men wounded in quadruple shooting in rural southwest Alabama

Four men were injured Sunday night following a quadruple shooting in rural southwest Alabama, authorities said Monday.

The victims, who were shot in the Alma/Gainestown area, in unincorporated Clarke County, suffered apparent non-life-threatening injuries, Sheriff DeWayne Smith told Fox 10.

They were taken to University Hospital in Mobile, where they are recovering from their wounds.

Smith told the station the shooting appeared to stem from an argument Sunday night.

No arrests have been made in the quadruple shooting, the sheriff said.
