A homicide investigation is underway in Montgomery, after a man was found dead there early Sunday morning.

Shortly before 2:30 a.m., Montgomery Police Department and Montgomery Fire Department medics responded to a shooting in the 3700 block of Woodhill Road.

There they found Charvez Wilson, 24, of Montgomery, who had sustained a gunshot. Wilson was pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing.
