Teen charged with murder in fatal shooting of 16-year-old in Montgomery
A teenager has been charged with murder in the September shooting death of another teen in Montgomery, police said Wednesday.
The 16-year-old suspect is the third person to be charged in the Sept. 10 shooting death of the victim, who was also 16, said Maj. Saba Coleman.
The suspect, who was only identified as a juvenile male, was taken into custody Wednesday by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force.
He was taken to the Montgomery County jail, where the suspect is being held without bond.
The victim was found shot dead on the night of Sept. 9 in the 1000 block of Eastern Boulevard.
An adult male was also found wounded. He was taken to the hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Coleman said investigators determined the shooting happened in the 100 block of Eastdale Road South.
Further information was not released.
