A 63-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Talladega County.

Alabama State Troopers identified the fatality victim as Dixie S. Roberts. She lived in Talladega.

The crash happened at 12:10 p.m. on Alabama 34, about five miles north of Talladega.

Senior Trooper Justin O’Neal said Roberts was driving a Toyota Avalon that was struck by a Hyundai Sante Fe, driven by 71-year-old Jennifer Milstead, also of Talladega.

Roberts was pronounced dead on the scene.

Milstead and her 64-year-old passenger, Sonja Jenkins, were both injured and taken to RMC Hospital in Anniston.

An 82-year-old passenger in Roberts’ car was also injured and taken to UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

The investigation is ongoing by troopers.
