A 66-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle weekend crash in Birmingham.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Kalvin Knight. He lived in Birmingham.

The wreck happened at 11:29 p.m. Saturday in the 3400 block of 28th Avenue North. Details about the crash have not been released, but authorities said Knight was driving a Doge Ram pickup truck.

Knight was taken to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:10 a.m. Sunday.

Birmingham police are investigating.
