Huntsville police said one person died early Monday morning following a shooting at an apartment complex.

According to police, officers responded to Fairview Farm Way shortly before 2 a.m. for a shooting call.

One person was transported to the hospital, and was pronounced dead from injuries. The victim’s name has not yet been released.

Investigators are working to speak to a person of interest.

At this time, police believe the shooting was an isolated incident.

Police are investigating.
