On Saturday at 10:36 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory in effect until Sunday at 6 a.m. for Mobile and Baldwin counties.

The weather service comments, “Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.”

“Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility,” describes the weather service. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”

Once you come to a stop, turn off all lights except your hazard flashing lights, set the emergency brake, and take your foot off of the brake pedal to be sure the tail lights are not illuminated so that other drivers don’t mistakenly run into you.
