Due to Music City Bowl conflict, Auburn basketball moves Chattanooga start time

With the new addition to Auburn’s athletics calendar in the Music City Bowl set to cause a potential conflict for fans, Auburn basketball moved back the start time of its Dec. 30 game against Chattanooga from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Music City Bowl is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. on the same day which likely would have led to a limited crowd at Neville Arena for the basketball game. The time change will also allow fans at the bowl game enough time to leave Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee to leave the venue and find a place to watch the basketball game, if they should so choose.

The game will still be televised by the SEC Network.
