In the fifth NFL regular-season game without a punt, three fourth-down stops by the Dallas defense made the difference in the Cowboys’ 41-35 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night.

Dallas scored the game’s final 14 points while stopping Seattle. The Cowboys stopped a fourth-and-1 run at the Dallas 46-yard line with 7:04 to play, then drove for a touchdown to take a 38-35 lead. The Seahawks had an incompletion on fourth-and-4 at their 49 with 3:11 to go that the Cowboys followed with a field goal. Another incompletion on fourth-and-2 at the 50-yard line with 1:07 remaining ended Seattle’s final chance.

Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott completed 29-of-41 passes for 299 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb had 12 receptions for 116 yards with one touchdown.

Seattle quarterback Geno Smith completed 23-of-41 passes for 334 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf had six receptions for 134 yards and three touchdowns, including a 73-yarder on Seattle’s third snap of the game.

Six players from Alabama high schools and colleges got on the field during the Seattle-Dallas game:

· Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (Alabama) is on injured reserve and not eligible to play.

· Cowboys linebacker Rashaan Evans (Auburn High, Alabama) did not record any stats.

· Seahawks linebacker Derick Hall (Auburn) did not record any stats.

· Cowboys cornerback Noah Igbinoghene (Hewitt-Trussville, Auburn) was designated as a game-day inactive.

· Seahawks cornerback Mike Jackson (Spain Park) did not record any stats.

· Jarran Reed (Alabama) started at nose tackle for the Seahawks. Reed made seven tackles, recorded one sack, had two tackles for loss and registered two quarterback hits. Reed has five sacks this season.

· Jalen Tolbert (McGill-Toolen, South Alabama) started at wide receiver for the Cowboys. Tolbert caught a 17-yard pass.

· Cowboys defensive end Sam Williams (Lee-Montgomery) made one tackle.

Dallas (9-3) stays in prime time for its next game, when the Cowboys play the Philadelphia Eagles at 7:20 p.m. CST Dec. 10 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in an NFC East showdown. Dallas has won 13 consecutive home games.

Seattle (6-6) faces the San Francisco 49ers at 3:05 p.m. Dec. 10 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
