This week’s Class 1A-6A state semifinals feature a pair of matchups between unbeaten teams.

In Class 1A, reigning champ Leroy (12-0) hosts electric running back Alvin Henderson and Elba (13-0). In Class 2A, B.B. Comer – the runner-up a year ago – hosts Reeltown. The Rebels are 12-0. B.B. Comer is 13-0.

The other unbeaten teams still alive in the semifinals this week are Mobile Christian (13-0) and Madison Academy (13-0) in 3A, top-rated Montgomery Catholic (13-0) in 4A, No. 1 Gulf Shores (13-0) in 5A and the top two ranked teams in 6A – No. 1 Saraland (13-0) and No. 2 Clay-Chalkville (12-0).

Central-Phenix City (12-0) already has clinched a spot in the 7A title game Dec. 6 against four-time reigning champ Thompson.

Here is the official lineup for this week’s semifinals along with the matchups already decided for the Super 7 championships at Tuscaloosa’s Bryant-Denny Stadium.

All semifinal games are set for 7 p.m. Friday.
