Gulf Shores man killed, 2 others injured in head-on wreck near Summerdale
A Gulf Shores man was killed and two Summerdale residents injured in a head-on collision in Baldwin County Friday night, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The crash occurred just before 5 p.m. Friday on Baldwin County 9, about five miles south of Summerdale. A 2008 Toyota Avalon driven by 41-year-old Cameron A. Onjukka crashed head on into a 2018 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 17-year-old Summerdale resident.
Onjukka was pronounced dead at the scene, while the teenage driver and his passenger, 20-year-old Macy E. Bishop, also of Summerdale, were transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
No additional details were provided as ALEA continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
