The Tigers’ nine-play, 75-yard TD drive to open the second half against the Crimson Tide had given LSU a 28-21 lead.

LSU QB Joe Burrow holds the league record with 6,039 yards of total offense in 2019. Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel had 5,116 yards in 2012. Daniels leads the nation in total offense with an average of 417.4 yards per game. His 4,591 yards include 3,577 passing yards and 1,014 rushing yards.
562.2 yards per game have been averaged by LSU this season, the most in the nation. Texas A&M has yielded an average of 286.5 yards per game in 2023, the fewest in the SEC.
