Black Friday 2023 store hours: Walmart, Target, Old Navy, Marshallâs, TJ Maxx and more
With more and more stores closing on Thanksgiving – including mega retailers Walmart and Target – the shopping emphasis is moving to Black Friday and the holiday weekend.
Several major retailers are opening early or staying open later on Black Friday (Nov. 24).
While online shopping has changed many people’s spending habits, the day after Thanksgiving is still a prime time for retailers to cash in before the holidays. Nearly 13% of all retail sales in the U.S. occur between Black Friday and Christmas with just under 197 million shoppers hitting the store last year.
Deals and bargains are the main draw for shoppers with estimated savings of 24% last year.
Here are some Black Friday hours for 2023. As always, check ahead with your favorite location as some stores can have different hours, especially if they are located in malls.
