Mobile police say a 17-year-old is dead following an exchange of gunfire Sunday afternoon.

Cpl. Katrina Frazier said police were called to the 6400 block of Stuardi Court following a report of gunshots.

They discovered there the body of a 17-year-old male in a yard.

Investigators believe there was an exchange of gunfire between the victim and individuals seated inside a vehicle, which was parked in a driveway on Stuardi Court.

No arrests have been announced.
