33-year-old woman is 3rd suspect charged in death of man found in burning Cullman County home

A Cullman woman is behind bars, the third suspect charged in the May death of a 45-year-old man found inside a burning home.

Charity Dawn Hutton, 33, has been indicted on charges of capital murder during a robbery and capital murder during arson.

The body of Noah Waters was found in the early-morning hours of May 13 when first responders were dispatched to a residential fire on County Road 1635. He had been shot to death.

The indictment states that Waters was killed during the theft of “assorted fishing equipment and/or other items.

Hutton is the third person charged in connection with Waters’ death.

Joseph Wayne Christiansen, 37, and Michael Lee Lambert, 31, were arrested in June, and later indicted, on the same charges.

The trial for Christiansen and Lambert is set for Feb. 26. It wasn’t immediately clear whether Hutton will be tried at the same time.
