An 83-year-old woman was killed in a crash with a motorhome in Tuscaloosa County.

Alabama State Troopers identified the fatality victim as Jearldine R. Sanford. She lived in Northport.

The wreck happened at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday on Joe Mallisham Parkway, about three miles south of Northport, said Senior Trooper Justin O’Neal.

Sanford was driving a Chrysler Town & Country when her car was hit by a Fleetwood Bounder driven by 30-year-old John Sturkie of Georgia.

Sanford was pronounced dead on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing by troopers.
