Hard-rock bands Staind and Seether will come to two Alabama venues in May, according to information from Birmingham-based Red Mountain Entertainment.

The “Tailgate Tour” comes to The Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach on May 14, then to the Oak Mountain Amphitheater in Pelham on May 15. General ticket sales for both shows start at noon Friday, Nov. 17. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.com and other Ticketmaster outlets.

According to Red Mountain, ticket prices for both shows will range from $29.50 to $99.50 plus fees.

Staind released three consecutive No. 1 albums between 2001 and 2005, generating hits such as “It’s Been Awhile,” “So Far Away” and “Right Here.” In September the band released its first studio album in 12 years, “Confessions of the Fallen,” with the single “Lowest In Me” reaching No. 1 on Billboard’s U.S. rock chart.

According to promotional materials, the shows will feature special guest Seether plus Saint Asonia and Tim Montana. Saint Asonia is a band featuring Staind guitarist Mike Mushok and former Three Days Grace singer Adam Gontier.
