What time does Walmart close on New Year’s Eve? Store hours for Dec. 31, 2022

We’re getting ready to wrap up 2022 and for some people, that means a big New Year’s Eve party with family and friends. For others, an idea New Year’s Eve is staying in and snuggling up on the couch to watch TV.

A recent survey on New Year’s Eve shows 35% said they plan to celebrate at home with family while 20% said they were going out or partying. A whopping 35% said they have no plans at all; 3% said they’d be working.

No matter if you’re heading out or staying in, chances are you might need some last minute supplies and, if that’s the case, you will be happy to know Walmart is open.

Walmart will be open at 6 a.m. on New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31) and close at 11 p.m. Stores will reopen regular time on Jan. 1, 2023. Some services and departments may have different schedules to check ahead to make sure.

If you do go to Walmart, you can cash in on some holiday clearance as well as products for its “New Years Reset,” including exercise equipment, supplements, and attire.
