A man died after he was found shot multiple times in the bedroom of a home in Chambers County early Sunday morning.

Karl O. Scott was found by officers Sunday morning at 1:46 a.m. in a house in the 800 block of North 12th Avenue in Lanett, police told WRBL.

The Lanett Police Department could not be reached to confirm the station’s report.

Scott, who was shot multiple times, was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.

No arrests have been made in Scott’s death.
