Birmingham firefighters are on the scene of a blaze at the old Red Lobster on Birmingham’s Crestwood Boulevard.

Crews responded to the former restaurant about 6:45 p.m. When they arrived, they found heavy fire and smoke showing.

BFRS Capt. Orlando Reynolds said the fire appeared to be under control by 7:15 p.m.

No injuries have been reported.
