Ole Miss’ Lane Kiffin celebrates trick play, throws ‘sleeping’ gesture at Texas A&M, Jimbo Fisher

It’s felt personal for some time for Lane Kiffin when it comes to Jimbo Fisher.

The Ole Miss coach has questioned the Aggies’ NIL dealing, dating back to Alabama’s Nick Saban’s comment that Texas A&M “bought every player.”

Leading up to Saturday’s game against the Aggies, Kiffin praised Fisher’s roster.

“These guys are absolutely loaded,” Kiffin said. “It’s kind of a mind-blowing collection of talent as you watch them, offensively, defensively, return game, special teams. It really is like an NFL roster. I mean, height, weight, speed, explosiveness.”

Yet, the Aggies are 5-3, and Kiffin knows it.

“A&M’s done a great job of collecting players. I don’t know how you collect much better (talent). So congratulations to their group that collected these guys.”

So, fast forward to the first half of their game Saturday, and Kiffin was pumped to pull off a trick play.

The Rebels pulled the old player running-off-the-field, but-he-really-isn’t-off-the-field play.

Check out the play below as receiver Jordan Watkins makes his way to the Ole Miss sidelines but he stops before he steps off the field.

The result was a touchdown, and Kiffin celebrated the touchdown by running down the field, then threw a “sleeping” gesture at the Aggies sidelines.
