A 67-year-old man died a day after the ATV he was riding collided with a van in southwest Alabama, authorities said Wednesday.

William J. Miller, 67, of Millry, died last Thursday at University Hospital in Mobile from injuries he sustained in the Dec. 21 crash on Nathan Road, about eight miles south of Millry, in Washington County, said Sgt. Jeremy Burkett of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Miller was riding a 2009 Kawasaki Mule ATV that struck a 2009 Chevrolet Express van around 12:08 p.m. Dec. 21, Burkett said.
