Child critically injured after being struck by vehicle with woman, infant while trick-or-treating in Birmingham
A child was critically injured after a vehicle struck three people who were trick-or-treating in Birmingham Tuesday night, according to firefighters.
A woman and infant suffered minor injuries in the incident, said Battalion Chief Clay Hendon.
The incident happened near the intersection of 9th Avenue South and 56th Street South at about 7:54 p.m.
Police on the scene said the crash was a hit-and-run.
