Auburn’s run of four brutal games to open SEC play is over, and coming off four losses in a row, Auburn will now face Mississippi State in a game that may be a must-win for the Tigers.

Auburn is 3-4 and 0-4 in SEC play. With five games to go this season, it is chasing bowl eligibility.

Pregame

– It looks like Auburn is still getting closer to full health with running back Damari Alston warming up in pads. He’s been out for the last three games with a shoulder injury. He practiced earlier this week without a non-contact jersey during an open session Tuesday.

– It does appear, as expected, that Auburn will be without starting center Avery Jones (undisclosed). Connor Lew will get his first career start in his place.

Mississippi State will be without starting quarterback Will Rogers and starting running back Jo’Quavious “Woody” Marks in today’s game.
