Authorities are searching for a 12-year-old girl who they said ran away from home.

Luci Marie Hullum was last seen in the area of John Hawkins Parkway at Whisper Woods Drive, according to Hoover police.

She was wearing a pink shirt, white pajama pants with red hearts and took a Yorkshire Terrier dog with her.

Police said Luci has run away in the past and is known to have frequented Birmingham and Bessemer.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Det. Brandon Harris at 205-444-7742.
