Atlanta-based Fairway Social coming to Birmingham’s Urban Supply

An Atlanta-based sports entertainment dining destination is coming to Birmingham’s Parkside District.

Fairway Social features virtual sports games, a full-service restaurant and bar. Patrons can try their hand at simulated games of football, golf, soccer and carnival games.

Birmingham developer Orchestra Partners announced that Fairway Social will be located in its Urban Supply development, which was planned as a mix of indoor and outdoor entertainment, retail and dining tenants.

The Birmingham location in the Parkside District will occupy about 7,500 square feet, with restaurant and bar, seven Full Swing-powered bays and outdoor dining/gathering spaces. Full Swing is a golf simulation program.

There will also be space for live music, darts, cornhole, ping-pong, and other games.

Birmingham will be the third location for Fairway Social, after a recent announcement of a second in Fayetteville, Ga.

Competitive Social Venture, a real estate holding company for competitive social entertainment concepts, is working with Orchestra Partners on the Urban Supply development. Both companies say there will be more upcoming tenant announcements. CSV’s CEO, Neal Freeman, said Fairway Social’s Birmingham location will be “one of a kind.”

“Fairway Social is an entertainment destination for people of all ages, and we’re so excited to be bringing it to Birmingham’s Parkside District,” Orchestra Partners Senior Development Associate Drew Watson said. “The Fairway Social location in Alpharetta, Ga., has been wildly successful, and we expect the same from our new location in Urban Supply. The concept is a great fit for the development and will offer a unique experience for guests.”

Urban Supply is a multi-block destination in Birmingham’s Parkside District. It consists of six properties along a pedestrian-only aisle created from a former alley.

Fitness leasing is the current focus for the project. Any interested fitness-based tenants should contact Lyndsy Yim, [email protected], for more information.
