Watch Miss Terry, Kristen Saban Setas sing ‘Dixieland Delight’ during Alabama’s win over Tennessee

Don’t let anyone tell you that Alabama’s 34-20 win over Tennessee on Saturday was just another game.

Not for the Crimson Tide. Not for Nick Saban. Not for his family.

A year after a last-second field goal in Knoxville stunned Alabama and snapped a 15-tear winning streak over the Volunteers, this one felt different. Alabama wanted to set things right, and it did.

The Alabama coach asked for a raucous atmosphere, and the Crimson Tide faithful delivered.

In the midst of the traditional rendition of Dixieland Delight, Saban’s daughter, Kristen Saban Setas, posted to Instagram a video of she and her mother Miss Terry joining in on the festivities.

Last month, Setas, three days after Alabama fell at home to Texas 34-24, took to Instagram with a message for disgruntled fans with the caption, “Getting tired of reminding y’all.”

She posted the Alabama coach himself delivering the message, via a 2021 rant about self-absorbed fans.

“You know what else?” Nick Saban said. “Nobody wants to win worse than they do. Not me, not you, I don’t care what kind of fan you are. Nobody wants to win more than the players that play. Nobody.”

On Saturday, that appeared to be the case.

Even Nick Saban took time to chew on a cigar as quarterback Jalen Milroe laughed hysterically.

Milroe passed for two touchdowns, Jihaad Campbell returned a fumble for a score in the fourth quarter and No. 11 Alabama uncorked 27 straight second-half points in rallying for a victory over Tennessee. The comeback was fueled by big plays from Milroe and tailback Jase McClellan and a defense that smothered Joe Milton III and the Volunteers after the half.
