Bench-clearing brawl, which includes blindside hit and kick to head, ends college game

The game between Manchester Spartans and the Bluffton Beavers, two Division III schools, was called after the two teams got into a bench-clearing brawl.

The brawl, as you can see from the video below, was started after a punt. Both teams headed to their benches as Manchester wide receiver Kenneth Redd Jr. ran and threw a blindside shot at Bluffton linebacker Travion Curry. After hitting Curry, Redd Jr. kicked. That’s when all chaos broke out.

Todd King finished the game with 25 carries for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns in the 50-12 win for the Beavers on their homecoming. They are now 2-5 on the season. The Spartans fall to 0-7 on the year in year one under coach Vann Hunt.
