The Red Devils are 7-0 overall, 6-0 in region play. Auburn is 6-1 overall, 4-1 in the region.

The rivals split two meetings a year ago with Central winning 38-17 in the regular season and Auburn winning 14-13 in the state semifinals. The Red Devils and Tigers have played twice eight times in the last four years, meeting in the semifinals each of those years.
