8 men arrested in Cullman child exploitation sting

Eight men were arrested following a child exploitation sting operation last week in Cullman, authorities said Wednesday.

The operation by the Cullman Police Department’s Investigation Division and Tactical Unit, Covenant Rescue Group and Cullman County District Attorney Champ Crocker was aimed at targeting child predators.

The sting led the arrests of eight men – seven from Alabama and one from Tennessee:

· Dalton Lynn Gilliland, age 31, of Blountsville, AL was arrested and charged with Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act and Electronic Solicitation of a Child

· Brody Hayes Bates, age 33, of Cullman, AL was arrested and charged with Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act and Electronic Solicitation of a Child

· Yovani Alan Cruz Martinex, age 20, of Blountsville, AL was arrested and charged with Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act and Electronic Solicitation of a Child

· William Henry Clift, age 59, of Hazel Green, AL was arrested and Charged with Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act and Electronic Solicitation of a Child

· Mung Sian Kim, age 31, of Cullman, AL was arrested and charged with Human Trafficking 1st Degree, Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act, and Electronic Solicitation of a Child

· Ryan Philip Nobriga, age 31, of Town Creek, AL was arrested and charged with Human Trafficking 1st Degree, Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act, and Electronic Solicitation of a Child

· Juan Carlos Gutierrez, age 41, of Decatur, AL was arrested and charged with Human Trafficking 1st Degree, Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act, and Electronic Solicitation of a Child

· Carey Andrew Kraehmer, age 43, of Seymour, TN was arrested and charged with Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act, Electronic Solicitation of a Child, Enticing a Child for Immoral Purposes, and Facilitating the travel for a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act.

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected, Cullman police said.
