17-year-old high school senior killed in north Alabama crash

A senior at Brindlee Mountain High School was killed in an early morning crash in Marshall County.

Coroner Cody Nugent said the incident happened at about 12:30 a.m. in the area of Warrenton Road and Bennett Drive.

A 17-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency are investigating the crash.
